What we do is we have a lot of pictures and a lot of documents that we need to put in in our powerpoint presentations so we usually scan it.
From your phone and we try to attach it to our email and send it and send an email to ourself and then download the attachment or if you're working on your mac you can.
Do an airdrop so there are different ways of getting documents from your library which are already on your phone.
And scanning it with different softwares and emailing to yourself so all these problems all these hassles would be resolved if you install this add-in.

Foremost is you'll have to install the add-in on your computer so how do we do that so go to insert and go to add-ins click on get add-ins in this you need to search for.
Scan and paste search for that so you see the first one scan and paste for office 365 so you need to click on add and it will.

To your powerpoint so after you are done with this close this it will ask you a few steps and then after that you will see the.Scan and paste add in appearing here on your insert ribbon it is here if you can see.
So that's it that is how you simply add the scan and paste add-in onto your powerpoint that's it that's a one-time uh process then the step two.
Is to install the add-in on your phone so whether you are on your ios whether you are on your android phone it is available so you need to download the app as well.
So again it's a one-time process uh just search for scan and paste and download it from your app store all right so once you've finished downloading.
You can open the app so let's see how the app looks so once you open the app you see the interface like this you have the scan and paste option you have.
Different options that you can scan so you can scan a document you can scan a photo you can scan a video or in fact every audio as well you can.
Really scan a video or an audio you can definitely send it through this app to your computer to your powerpoint slide so we'll see how do we do that so when it comes to photos you can.
When you click on this photo option it opens the camera like this you can either click a picture or you can go to your gallery and select a picture as.

And then the pictures will appear like this in your my files as soon as you finish uh scanning or selecting the picture or.Clicking the picture to your camera so these are the steps for the photo that's how you select the photo that's how you click the photo.
Using this app so what do we do after clicking the photo after selecting the photo next step is to sync you have to sync your app.
To your powerpoint so how do we do that so as soon as you are done selecting your picture right you go to scan so open the app again.
Right go to the scan option you see here click on the scan option it will open the camera on your phone so as soon as the camera is open on your phone.
You need to scan a qr code so what is that qr code so when you click on the ribbon to insert scan and paste a qr code opens up so as.
Soon as you scan this code your app gets synced with the powerpoint with your computer rather so let me scan it you won't be able to see how i'm.
Scanning it but this code will disappear as soon as i scan it just give me a moment okay i'm scanning it right now okay.
If you see the code disappeared because i just scanned it using my phone and i have all the scans that i have done from uh the phone right so the scan is.
Done now the computer is synced with the app so that's it you see all your scans appearing here all you need to do is just click to insert just click on the.
Image it will get inserted into your slide so that's it that's how you click image that's how you send it to your powerpoint slide so isn't that easy.
